Our future: Internet of the things
In the article, The Next Decade Is the Internet Of Things, the author points out that the Internet makes our world become more and more easy connect to each others. Internet is a important part of globalization. Like the author described that "I think we need to coin a new term 'internetionlization', if we can pronounce it that is." We also do not know does the internet able to connect to each equipment in the world. We can image that any machines and equipment, such as light switch, cars, TV, and door lock, being connected to each other and the internet. We can control our machines from anywhere, through our cell phone. Any equipment could be connected to a same grid, such as the street lights. The grid could be measured our house emits of light, then it combine with the light needed on the street to provide power to the street light. We also can connect light sensors and motion sensors to our system. The street light will be following your car, and saving power. However, there still have same problem to block our new internet, such as the author said, "mainly the fact that there are a lot of proprietary protocols that really scale." The thesis of this article is that internet will be increately importance in our future.
I strongly agree with the author, because the internet became to necessary means of communication. This article suggest me that we can also connect our cars in a new system, then we could know the traffic and keep away from other cars that can make people more and more safe.
